Peter Shaffery

I'm a PhD candidate in Applied Math at CU Boulder, my advisor is Vanja Dukic. My thesis work uses random matrix methods to understand phenomena in disease ecology. I have also performed work with the Sensing and Predictive Analytics group at the National Renewable Energy Lab, using Bayesian time series methods to separate distributed solar power generation from grid-level power measurements.

Besides my professional work, I sometimes take on "data for good" projects, which you can read about on my Blog.
